Ford will unveil the Ford Mustang GT-R concept at Michigan Auto Show that features Ford Racing’s 440-horsepower Cammer crate engine, and was based on the 2005 Ford Mustang.

The Ford Mustang GT-R concept is equipped with classis exterior features like the classic pony in the grille surrounded by modern materials like carbon fiber, along with other exterior features that include 20-inch wheels, racing slicks and substantial air scoops, large rear fenders, and dual stainless steel exhaust tips.

On the inside, the Ford Mustang GT-R concept features a steering wheel that is inspired by Formula 1 (F1) race cars. Most vehicle controls of the Mustang GT-R concept is mounted on the steering wheel including the tachometer, gear selections, telemetry and warning signals.

The 2008 Mercury Mariner has just been announced, and will go on sale early in 2007. Ford today unveiled updated versions of two of its small sport-utility vehicles, the 2008 Ford Escape and Mercury Mariner at its plant in Claycomo, Missouri, a suburb of Kansas City, where both of them will be manufactured.

The new 2008 Mercury Mariner arrives in dealer showrooms this quarter with a refined new design, a quieter ride and a host of new features and options– and sticker prices that average $1,300 less than 2007 Mariner models. The 2008 Mariner also benefits from substantially improved residual values.

The manufacturer’s suggested retail price (MSRP) for the 2008 Mercury Mariner starts at $21,395, including $665 destination and delivery. The 2008 Mariner Hybrid will begin at $26,430.
