Land Rover North America, a division of Ford Motor Company has announced the details of its new LR2 HSE, an enhanced model of the popular Land Rover LR2 compact crossover SUV. The vehicle will roll out in Land Rover dealer showrooms all over the U.S. early this coming November.Just as the other Land Rovers, the LR2 HSE is equipped with the company’s proprietary Terrain Response, permanent intelligent all-wheel-drive system, as well as the new Gradient Release Control working together with Hill Descent Control.

3.2-liter inline-six engine that develops 230 bhp and provides 0-60 mph acceleration in 8.4 seconds (0-100 km/h in 8.9 seconds)

Other advanced technologies include a new permanent intelligent all-wheel-drive system for superior traction and better on-road fuel economy. The patented Gradient Release Control works in conjunction with Hill Descent Control to improve driver confidence and control when releasing the brakes on steep and slippery slopes.
