Ford released today the 2009 Ford Focus RS specs and announced its presence at the 2008 Paris Motor Show. The 2009 Ford Focus RS is powered by a turbocharged Duratec 2.5-litre, 5-cylinder engine that develops 300PS and 440Nm of torque. The official 2009 Ford Focus RS specs say the fastest European Ford ever has a 0 to 100 km/h acceleration time of under 6.0 seconds and that it has a top speed of more than 260 km/h.

The Vibrant ‘Ultimate Green’ paint of the 2009 Ford Focus RS has also been confirmed. The 2009 Ford Focus RS specs also say it has newly developed camshafts, a revised cylinder head and gasket and revised intake and manifold systems. The 2009 Ford Focus RS is equipped with a Quaife Automatic Torque Biasing limited-slip differential and a ‘RevoKnuckle’ front suspension.
